Looming weather

The bad weather was looming this morning on my way to work. Hopefully it will hold off this weekend.

    We have had some great summer weather over the last week or two and nobody would guess we are in the mids of winter, but a coldfront has just brought an end to that.

    Lovely atmospheric shot, I think I love the looming almost more than the actual bad weather, the light does crazy amazing things.

    @Firefly & Fiona: After these looming storm clouds, the sky cleared and we had a beautiful day as you can see in today's post which was taken about 5 hours later!
